Other Classes Offered On Occasion

Faith and Finances

Join our Faith & Finances Community. We’ll eat, laugh and struggle together as we learn to overcome obstacles, set financial goals, make spending plans, manage debt and loans and more. It is a curriculum that encourages us to consider God’s plans for our money & resources.

Anxious for Nothing
The presence of anxiety is unavoidable, but the prison of anxiety is optional. This study will use Philippians 4:6-7, the most highlighted passage of any book on the planet, to help us in anxious times, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat At Your Table
We’ve all been in circumstances that cause our minds to spin out of control with thoughts that are unproductive, destructive, and harmful. During these moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and wonder why we keep repeating the same mistakes. We need to recognize these thoughts are not of God but from a lurking enemy—an enemy who seizes every opportunity to lie his way into our minds and claim control over our lives. It’s time to win the battle of your mind! Stuck in toxic thinking patterns.
Forgiving What You Can’t Forget
Discover how to move on, make peace with painful memories, and create a life that’s beautiful again.
Building Bounce
Let’s face it: Life is hard. We all get overwhelmed at times. But some people seem to bounce back from their upset emotions faster than most. Are they just born happy? Or is there a secret to building emotional resilience that anyone can learn? How can we bounce back? Building Bounce explains the theory behind growing emotional resilience and provides practical tools you can use in a variety of settings, such as growing your own emotional capacity, parenting children in ways that build joy, and helping others who live love-joy lives learn the skills that grow joy.
Affirming Potential
This class evaluates the physical, emotional, relational and spiritual areas of a person’s life. It builds on the foundation that God has created us with essential worth and unique potential with a purpose in mind. Participants will learn to dream for the future, set goals and create steps to achieve those goals. Let us help you face and accept your past, to better understand the present as you embrace your future.
Boundaries

Do you have trouble saying no? Can you set limits and still be a loving person? Are you in control of your life? What are legitimate boundaries? Do people take advantage of you? Healthy relationships and sound living depend on maintaining effective personal boundaries. But many people don’t know where to start. As a participant, you’ll learn how to live your life more fully and display truth and love more freely. This study can improve the quality of your relationships in every sphere of life- marriage, family, friendships, church, and the workplace.

You’ll Get Through This
With God’s help, you’ll get through this. We fear that the depression will never lift, the yelling will never stop, the pain will never leave. In the pits, surrounded by steep walls and aching reminders, we wonder: Will this gray sky ever brighten? Find sweet assurance in hope as you take this class!
Made to Crave
The reality is we were made to crave. Craving isn’t a bad thing. But we must realize God created us to crave more of him. Many of us have misplaced that craving by overindulging in physical pleasures instead of lasting spiritual satisfaction. In this class we will learn tools to break the cycle of “I’ll start again Monday” and feel good about yourself today, stop agonizing over numbers on the scale and make peace with our bodies, and replace rationalizations that lead to failure with wisdom that leads to victory. Reach your healthy goals and grow closer to God through the process.
Living Abundantly
God has created us in His image, to function in His fullness. How do we live spiritually, relationally, emotionally, mentally, physically and financially healthy in the midst of this broken world? This class is a survey that will offer a dive into each of these areas, as well as practical tools to step into the abundant life Jesus came to give us!

Good Boundaries and Goodbyes

Is it unloving or selfish to set a boundary? Are Christians ever called to walk away from a relationship that’s no longer safe or sustainable? Lysa TerKeurst deeply understands these hard questions in the midst of relational struggles. But after thousands of hours of counseling intensives and extensive theological research that transformed the way she defined healthy relationships, Lysa is now more committed than ever to loving people well without losing the best of who she is. She wants to help you do the same.

Resolving Everyday Conflict
Everyone encounters conflict–whether it be with a coworker, family member, friend, or complete stranger. And yet we all desire harmony in our relationships. Resolving Everyday Conflict is a practical, biblical, concise guide to peacemaking in everyday life that can turn tumultuous relationships into peaceful ones.
who is jesus

Who is Jesus?

Have you or someone you know ever wondered about whether Jesus was truly who he claimed to be in the Bible? Is he truly God or just a good teacher? Is he truly a friend or just a judgmental foe? Is he the way to God or just a way among many? In Who Is Jesus?, Pastor Louie Giglio shows how God has called Christians to be storytellers of his grace, sharing the message of salvation through their own personal testimony and example.

Get Out Of Your Head

Are your thoughts holding you captive? I’ll never be good enough. Other people have better lives than I do. God couldn’t really love me. Jennie Allen knows what it’s like to swirl in a spiral of destructive thoughts, but she also knows we don’t have to stay stuck in toxic thinking patterns. In Get Out of Your Head, Jennie inspires and equips us to transform our emotions, our outlook, and even our circumstances by taking control of our thoughts. Our enemy is determined to get in our heads to make us feel helpless, overwhelmed, and incapable of making a difference for the kingdom of God. But when we submit our minds to Christ, the promises and goodness of God flood our lives in remarkable ways.
